Position Summary

This position requires an RCM type of individual that is focused on Reliability and Continuous Improvement of equipment. The teammate will work with an area Planner, Engineering and Maintenance Manager to develop, improve and perform PM’s, PDM’s and Proactive Maintenance. This person must have an RCA mindset, and will be an area expert. This teammate would be required to attend Training as needed to continually advance their self level of expertise. Would also participate in, and lead improvement activities and other projects in their area of assignment. Teammate will also be responsible for documenting and recording all data acquired through the PDM process, and would be responsible for monitoring test results for trend changes that would trigger notification to the Planner, Manager, or Engineer so follow up actions can be taken to remedy the issue. This position requires self motivation, with the ability to work alone or within a Team environment, with complete focus on Reliability improvements and sustainability at this site.

Responsibilities

 

  • Must be a safety conscientious team member.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot electrical circuits to determine failed components, should be able to utilize electrical drawings to diagnose issues, and speed up repairs.
  • Requires knowledge and experience in the Mechanical field, including but not limited to Welding, Cutting, Power Transmission including belts, sheaves, shafts, chains, gears, and gearboxes.
  • Experience in disassembly/reassembly of machines to make repairs, perform inspections, or replace with new items.
  • knowledge and experience with Hydraulics and Pneumatics, working with systems, reservoirs, pumps, valves, sensors, cylinders, piping, tubing, hoses, switches, and motors. Having the knowledge and experience to troubleshoot and make repairs to those systems using proper methods.

 

 

Qualifications

Must be able to perform work in aerial lifts, scissor lifts, on ladders or other elevated devices.

Requires knowledge and experience in the Electrical field with voltages from 24 V to 480 V.

Preventive Maintenance experience performing PM’s on machinery.
