    Position Summary

    This position will lead the Maintenance and Reliability functions across the manufacturing organization of Firestone Building Products Company. It will be located at our corporate office in Nashville, Tennessee. The incumbent will lead the transformation of our Maintenance and Reliability practices, and build capability within the organization.  It will require up to 30-40% travel.


    • Lead the Maintenance and Reliability functions across 12 plants and 3 distribution centers within Firestone Building Products.
    • Drive work practices, tools, and employee capabilities within the Maintenance and Reliability community.
    • Lead and champion Autonomous Maintenance (AM) and Progressive Maintenance (PM) establishment and continuous improvement across the manufacturing base.
    • Plan, forecast, and deliver cost savings related to AM and PM implementation, and other maintenance and reliability initiatives.
    • Establish a system for spare parts inventory based on equipment rankings, and execute spare parts rationalization across the network to meet inventory targets.
    • Establish a comprehensive system for asset lifecycle management.
    • Contribute to reliability-centered engineering design standards for equipment. 


    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
    • At least 5 years of direct maintenance and reliability experience in manufacturing facilities.
    • At least 3 years of experience working within Autonomous Maintenance (AM) and Progressive Maintenance (PM) systems.
    • Proven track record of leading change within manufacturing facilities.


    Desired Qualifications

    • At least 3 years of experience leading the Maintenance and Reliability function across a manufacturing network.
    • Experience establishing AM and PM systems at multiple sites.
    • Strong collaboration, influence, and change management skills.
