    Position Summary

    This position manages all engineering disciplines necessary to operate, maintain, and develop the Prescott manufacturing facility in order to produce state-of-the-art EPDM and related roofing products.  This includes mechanical, electrical, electronic, and plant maintenance responsibilities.


    • Organize, assign, audit, and monitor all activities of the Engineering and Maintenance group.
    • Develop objectives to assure all plant equipment is monitored and maintained as necessary to assure maximum efficiency and dependability.
    • Develop recommendations for improvement and/or replacement of equipment through proper company channels.
    • Establish objectives and review with subordinates, providing target dates and follow up.
    • Secure budget approval for equipment and facilities necessary to assure plant's uninterrupted continuity and prosperity and also monitoring the installation of new equipment.
    • Work with Engineering services departmental personnel in optimizing existing equipment to improve production and quality of the product to meet the changing production and technical services needs.
    • Develop, establish, and implement departmental and plant objectives, while also working with other departments and managers to optimizing safety, quality, production, equipment, facilities, energy, manpower and budgets.
    • Direct participation in refinements, cost reductions and cost avoidance programs.
    • Evaluate needs and establish employee training and development.



    • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
    • Minimum of 8 years progressive work experience in manufacturing, operations, or strategic management.
    • Ideal candidate has working knowledge of systematic tools, including but not limited to, SBI, Six Sigma, Lean, 5S, LDS, FTA, Kaizen, and SDP, as well as manufacturing experience in maintenance and maintenance/production supervision.
