    Position Summary

    This role manages our EPDM portfolio life cycle from cradle to grave. It is a cross functional function that heavily interacts with the BOSS, Sales, R&D and Manufacturing.



    • Management of the product portfolio life cycle through. Prepare a Product category plan including new product proposals for 5 to 10 year planning horizon. Establish detailed plans for approved projects.
    • Identifying new applications and product development opportunities
    • Determining the price position of a product portfolio
    • Developing the business case and presenting justification for new products. Drive new product initiative and ensure smooth progress through a stage and gate process in a cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Operations, Finance and Marketing
    • Support new product launch activities including development of marketing/promotional materials, product demonstrations, selling stories, etc.
    • Forecast the business for his/her product category
    • Master market - including market segment trend analysis - and sales numbers in order to be able to support sales to outperform sales target.
    • Monitor product reputation and sales trends, highlight issues if they should arise.
    • Develops and tracks the detailed plans for each product project. Key inputs include business goals like major brand market share, ROA targets, SKU thresholds, market research insights etc
    • The Product Manager will become the subject matter expert for the products in their portfolio, will provide training to both internal and external customers 



    • BS degree in Engineering/Business or related field, MBA Preferred and;
    • 10 years progressive experience in Engineering/Technology/Marketing/Sales functions.


    • 15 years experience in a combination of the following areas: : Project Management, Product Management, Product Development, Marketing & Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance for a Building Material major supplier
    • Construction industry trends and dynamic understanding preferably in the roofing segment
    • Knowledge of Silicones or sprayfoam adhesive market and product is a plus Construction industry trends and dynamic understanding preferably in the roofing segment
