    Position Summary

    The Prescott, AR Distribution Center is responsible for servicing customer orders and stocking the remaining 3 DCs in the FSBP network.  The facility operates 24/7 and can store approximately 50M square ft. of membrane material. The role manages the receiving of membrane and accessory material, scheduling, picking and shipping transfer and customer orders, recording transactions in SAP, responding to customer service inquiries and ensuring teammate training.

    Responsibilities

    This teammate is responsible for the following:

    • Manage inventory levels in each of the distribution centers in the network and create stock transfer orders to support replenishment
    • Schedule transportation for stock transfers
    • Identify cost saving opportunities, for example direct load transfer orders from manufacturing
    • Create and provide inventory health reporting to the organization
    • Identify potential material shortages for stock transfer and customer orders and partner with responsible departments to define solution
    • Support safety training initiatives in the Prescott distribution center
    • Produce KPIs that drive the team's performance, with ability to speak to variance from target
    • Manage slow and obsolete inventory process
    • Ensure timely completion of cycle counts
    • Develop maintenance program for equipment used to support the DC, tracking repair schedules
    • Properly cross train in order to provide back up support to shift supervisors and administrative staff as needed

    Qualifications

    Either a Bachelors Degree or 10+ years of relevant experience in warehousing, transportation or logistics.  Strong computer and analytical skills and experience working with SAP and TMS's is required. Ability to work well in teams and work with and train teammates.
