    Position Summary

    Records any deviations from specifications found in machine, method or people aspects of production or testing, collects and records data for statistical trend analysis, and reports findings.

    Responsibilities

    Sampling

    1. Performs random sampling functions in assigned areas, in accordance with QAPM
    2. Inspection of materials, machine set points and/or workmanship (not specifically cover by QAPM) or specific instances where abnormalities are found.  

    Recording

    1. Records results of all sampling performed and forwards information process engineer and/or Technical services manager
    2. Records any deviation from specification and conditions in which deviation occurred.

    Reporting

    1. Reports any deviation from specification to production, maintenance, process engineers and technical services manager
    2. Uses bases statistical tools to analyze data and issue reports to process engineers
    3. Reports to process engineers and to technical services manager abnormal conditions requiring specification changes.

    Development

    1. Collaborates with production supervision and/or process engineers on methods and/or suggestion which would help to eliminate manufacturing problems and improve overall quality of the plant.

    Qualifications

    2 years Manufacturing experience  

    1 year quality experience

    2 year technical degree​

    Basic computer and math skills
