    Position Summary

    The Marketing Brand Manager is responsible for leading and managing the marketing communications primarily for Gaco-related marketing campaigns and agency relationships, traditional and non-traditional activation plans, public relations, brand messaging, as well as collaborating with event teams to integrate all brand/product-related messaging through strategic communication channels. Additionally, this role will develop cross-functional Marketing communication processes and procedures to drive best-in-class execution that support maintaining and refining the brand strategies for the broader FSBP portfolio




    • Lead brand strategy for Gaco to include analyzing market trends, customer insights, business challenges, etc. and adjust marketing plans accordingly. 
    • Understand key financial drivers for the brand (internally for the business and externally for various customer segments). 
    • Collaborate with FSBP business team, product managers, sales, digital and PR teams in the development and integration of marketing plans 
    • Develop and lead implementation and measurement of integrated marketing programs from strategy to tactical execution that fully leverage all customer touch points driving awareness, engagement and loyalty 
    • Collaborate on strategy and vision for optimizing communications and marketing implementation processes across all marketing channels, products and touch points 
    • Lead the development of Creative Briefs and strategic product communication and launch initiatives​ 
    • Comply with brand standards and trademark application for Gaco product families 
    • Oversee consistent use of brand messaging throughout communication campaigns 
    • Process leads from trade advertising and trade shows including database maintenance 
    • Support other family brands as needed. 
    • Manage literature and sample fulfillment program including inventory control, reprinting and revisions.
    • Manage communications to internal and external audiences i.e. Contractors, Sales Representatives 
    • Facilitate design, proofing and printing for existing and new collateral development 
    • Maintain accuracy of Gaco website content 
    • Act as Marketing liaison to PR firm relating to all aspects of brand advertising and public relations
    • Identify brand and product strengths, weaknesses and limitations and recommend FSBP strategies to position competitively within the commercial construction industry
    • Design, develop and implement market research in conjunction with Marketing Analytics team 
    • Recommend and implement corrective communication actions as required
    • Participate in the selection and management of vendors to ensure delivery of high quality sales support materials, events, meetings and messages that add value to the brand(s) 
    • Responsible for the communication and day-to-day management of vendor/agency working on the Gaco brand. 
    • Participate in the establishment of budgets, vendor management and event marketing plans




    • Superior interpersonal, teamwork, and collaboration skill. 
    • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, business or related degree​
    • 7+ years experience in marketing, with an emphasis in the marketing communications/brand management field. Strong working knowledge of digital marketing/social media Minimum of 2 years agency or agency management experience
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook) 
    • Superior verbal and written language skills
    • Self-starter with ability to work highly independently and act as subject matter expert for broader business 
    • Comfort in dealing with ambiguity and a variety of initiatives and processes 
    • Ability to apply problem solving and process improvement techniques and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
    • Demonstrated project management skills.
