    Position Summary

    TheProduction Floor Quality Control Technician is responsible for working with the production floor team to ensure all manufacturing processes are followed and verified.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Adhere to the environmental, safety, and health policies and procedures, and suggests continuous improvement ideas for safety and health.
    • Provide Quality support to production manufacturing. This can include but is not limited to: kitting tickets, batch tickets, pack offs.
    • Provide Quality support to production operators when errors/questions occur on the floor.
    • Provides direct communication between the production operations and management.
    • Responsible for pulling samples for quality testing of raw materials, and designated in-process and final product samples.
    • Responsible for sample pulling and analysis of raw materials.
    • Upholds quality practices on the production floor and corrects any quality discrepancies at the time of occurrence.

     

    • Performs other duties as requested.
    • Ability to work required shift, and to modify schedule as requested.
    • Fulfill QC lab activities when required.

     

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree preferred. High school Diploma/GED required.
    • Basic knowledge of chemistry and lab procedures required.
    • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
    • Excellent attention to detail with emphasis on observation, accuracy and quality.
    • Ability to work in a fast paced, professional environment. A self-starter with efficient time management abilities.  Ability to work with minimal supervision.
    • Work in a collaborative and team-oriented environment.
    • Effective written/oral communication skills are a must.
